More and more gamers are joining the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ family nowadays, and we know you’ve all been waiting for the tool to customize the NITRO Glow RGB LEDs, poke around the Fan Check system, set up the custom fan profiles and further boost your card’s performance. Well, wait no more, the SAPPHIRE TriXX 6.1 is here!
The interface
We have further developed the idea of the digital dashboard, adding more clarity in displayed values and more precise control of variables, with small increment buttons and sliders.
What you can tweak with SAPPHIRE TriXX 6.1:
- The GPU clock
- The memory clock (including the HBM overclocking on R9 FURY)
- Power Limit
- GPU Voltage
- Fan Speed (with up to 5 custom profiles)
The hardware monitor will give you a real-time overview on a variety of your PC’s parameters, such as usage percentages, current clock values and temperatures. You can export a log of metrics to a .txt file right from TriXX as well, and for enthusiasts messing with the card’s BIOS, there’s the VBIOS export feature to easily get a copy of the current firmware for safety.
NITRO Glow personalization
With SAPPHIRE TriXX 6.1 you can now also have much more precise control over the style of your SAPPHIRE NITRO+ 480/470 card. Clicking the NITRO Glow icon will present you with a menu for personalizing the color and glowing mode of the SAPPHIRE logo RGB LEDs. The handy color picker and distinctive modes of dynamic and static illumination allow you to choose from an almost unlimited number of shades—and make your SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 480 or 470 truly unique.
Fan Check diagnostic system
The release of SAPPHIRE TriXX 6.1 also introduces the self-diagnostic SAPPHIRE Fan Check system to all SAPPHIRE NITRO RX 400 series users (RX 480, 470 and 460). With a click of a button, you can run a short test of you card’s fans – TriXX measures their performance behind the scenes by spinning them to their limits, and then determines whether they’re healthy or not.
If the tool identifies an issue with one or both fans, you will be able to quickly request replacements without the need to send the entire card for RMA. Our Quick Connect feature found in SAPPHIRE NITRO 400 Series models will let you easily swap the fans without disassembling the rest of the cooler (and voiding your warranty).
